Lego WeDo Educational Robotics is a hands-on experience that ignites students’ curiosity, while enhancing their skills in science, engineering, technology, and programming. We build robots and learn to code. In our camp we use Lego We-Do bricks, motors, and sensors to create robots while following step by step instructions as well as campers’ own imagination. The easy-to-use block-based application allows the campers to operate and interact with the robots.
Campers will need their creativity and engineering skills to design, build, program, and test robots, and to complete the age-appropriate challenges and projects during the week. Each student will be provided with a robotic kit and equipment (laptop or tablet) to work on individual and group projects. We introduce our students to the concept of algorithm and sequencing, emphasizing the importance of structure and logic in programming exercises.
